There is a reason this partnership feels right.
ASCARO began in Stockholm. Founder Oscar Arrsjö brought padel — the world’s fastest growing racket sport — to Malaysia in May 2023, opening the country’s first dedicated padel club on the rooftop of 1 Utama. The aesthetic is unmistakably Scandinavian: clean black surfaces, considered lighting, an unforced kind of elegance that lets the space — and the sport — speak for itself.
NORDVOX began in Malaysia in 1993, founded by a Malaysian-Swedish family who carried the same Nordic conviction across the equator: that the spaces people share deserve the same care as the spaces they own. Over thirty years later, we supply the waste management infrastructure that keeps hospitals, hotels, councils, and now Malaysia’s most distinctive sports clubs working the way well-run spaces should.

What we supplied

The choice was deliberate. ASCARO’s design language is quiet, modern, and uncompromising. A generic plastic bin in the lounge would have undone the work of the architects. The bins we supplied are made to belong in a premium social environment — clear waste-stream identification, considered finishes, and the kind of durability that survives a packed Saturday afternoon without showing wear by Sunday morning.
Recycling at the source — where players, guests, and members can sort their waste without thinking about it — is what separates a venue that talks about sustainability from one that actually practises it.

Sweden recycles more than 99 percent of its household waste. It did not get there by being lectured at.
