Plastic Pallets

A plastic pallet is a moulded HDPE or polypropylene platform used to store and move goods by forklift or pallet jack. Unlike timber, it does not splinter, absorb moisture, harbour pests, or require treatment before export.

That last point matters most for Malaysian exporters. Wooden packaging crossing international borders must be heat-treated or fumigated and stamped under ISPM-15. Plastic pallets are exempt from ISPM-15 entirely — so there is no treatment cost, no certificate to chase, and no risk of a shipment being held at the destination port.
